Tygodniowe warsztaty tańca współczesnego z Carlą Doorn z Argentyny odbędą się w Centrum Łowicka w Warszawie. Program warsztatów zawiera interpretację różnych możliwości jednego ruchu w stosunku do czasu, dynamiki i jakości ruchu, sekwencję ćwiczeń i improwizacji, pracę nad koordynacją ciała i elastycznością z wykorzystaniem różnych technik, m.in. pewnych elementów akrobatyki.

Analysis of corporal movement through the latest contemporary dance techniques

These classes offer training modules based on dynamics of awareness of the dimensional relationship of moving structures of different parts of the body with gravity, space and the ground. Defining different groups of muscles, aquiring a consistent healthy muscular tone in tune with harmonious movement sequences.
Interpretation of different possibilities of one single movement in relation to time, dynamics and quality of movement.
Application of aquired exercises in sequences and improvisations encouraging development of creativity, coordination and flexibility with the use of learned techniques and strategies.
Also included are certain elements of acrobatics.


Carla Doorn - accomplished dancer and actress, highly trained in Classical and Contemporary Dance techniques both in Argentina and Europe with maestros such as Alfredo Gurquel, Eugenia Estevez, Francesco Scavetta (Compañia Wee), Paula Sacur (Chile), Ana Garat, Compañia Movimiento (Chile), Emanuel Ludueña, Tanzhause (Switzerland) etc. and Studio of Choreographic Composition with Diana Szeinblum.

Professional experience includes Aerial Acobatics and floor disciplines incorporating various martial techniques.

In 1999 Carla Doorn formed part of the artistic Group ¨ La Patogallina ¨ as a dancer and actress in stage productions in Santiago de Chile and other major cities. She has participated with her works performing in 32 European Festivals ( France , Spain , Canary Islands) and also Brazil . In Argentina Carla Doorn has performed in major theatres: CC Ricardo Rojas, Teatro Avenida, Teatro Payro (Teatro por la Identidad ), Teatro Sarmiento, Casa de la Cultura de Buenos Aires, selected and granted a scholarship for the Workshop of Director Philippe Genty and Choreographer Mary Underwood in Bariloche during February and March of 2008.

Selected for ¨Stage¨ with Director Arianne Mnouchkine, Theatre du Soleil, February 2009, Paris .

Work in Stage Investigation with Director Philippe Genty and Choreographer Mary Underwood with productions in Maison de la Cultura (Nevers, France), September 2009.

Work in Stunt FX in Argentine film and television productions.

Carla Doorn has also dictated classes and workshops in Argentina and Europe
